SFMograph This Week: RED
This week at SFMograph, I (along with Matt Silverman and one or two others) will be spending time going over the RED post-production workflow. RED is truly a post-production camera, more like a film camera in many ways than the standard video camera; once you get the workflow together, working with the footage is a joy. This isn’t simply a 101 intro; the intention is to hit on the nitty-gritty, and we plan to have at least one RED camera technician along for Q & A as well. Hey Chris! Any chance this meeting will be available in video? It would be very intersting to hear what you have to say about RED and AE!

They should try having that meeting a few times in a row, so people get used to when it’s going to happen. I had no idea because I gave up on SFMograph after there was no info for a few months. Oh well, maybe some other time.
